California Steel Industries (CSI) today announced that their January 2017 order book is now open. In addition, due to the changing market conditions, CSI further stated they will be increasing transaction prices, effective immediately, by a minimum of $1.50 cwt. ($33/mt or $30/nt) for all flat rolled steel products.

Unlike today’s price increase announcement from AMUSA, CSI did not set a minimum base price for flat rolled sheet products.
