CRC import offers in Brazil remain negotiated today in a price range of $1,150/mt to $1,200/mt, CFR conditions, stable from two weeks ago, a local trader told SteelOrbis.

In July, Brazil exported 21,800 mt and imported 44,000 mt of CRC. The exports were all destined to South American countries, in average at $526/mt, FOB conditions, shipped by Usiminas (21,300 mt), while small volumes were shipped by ArcelorMittal and traders.

The imports came chiefly from Asia (42,600 mt, of which 39,400 mt from China, in average at $766/mt), also FOB conditions, and 1,400 mt from Sweden at $736/mt.

In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades is offered in medium to large volumes by the producers at BRL 7,062/mt ($1,345/mt), against BRL 6,950/mt two weeks ago, ex-works, no taxes included.
