CRC and HRC prices soften in local Taiwanese market - week 30

SteelOrbis has been informed that in the local Taiwanese steel market the prices of JIS G3141 SPCC cold rolled coils (CRC) of 0.3-1.5 mm thickness have decreased by NTD 300/mt ($10/mt) since last week and are now standing at NTD 20,000-21,500/mt ($664-714/mt) delivered to customer, on actual weight basis.
 
Meanwhile, the prices of JIS G3131 SPHC 2.0-4.5 mm hot rolled coils (HRC) are currently at NTD 18,500-19,500/mt ($614-648/mt) delivered to customer, on actual weight basis, indicating a decline of NTD 200-500/mt ($7-17/mt) as compared to last week.
 
Both price ranges include five percent VAT and are for mid-August shipments.
