Taiwanese steelmaker Chung Hung Steel (CHS) has announced its domestic flats sales prices effective for September shipments. The new prices are at the following levels:

All the above prices include five percent VAT and are on ex-works basis.
Following the weakening steel demand and softening distribution price in the local market, CHS decided to cut all product prices for September shipment. Thus, the HRC domestic price was cut by NTD 1,800/mt ($57/mt), CRC was cut by NTD 1,500/mt ($48/mt) and HDG was cut by NTD 2,000/mt ($64/mt).
