Chinese flat steel export offer prices have risen slightly for some products over the past week, namely for hot rolled coil (HRC) and cold rolled coil (CRC), while prices of other products have softened slightly. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $430-440/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $465-475/mt FOB.
During the given week, the fluctuating trend in finished steel prices in the Chinese domestic market have influenced Chinese flat steel export offer prices, with both increases and decreases observed in prices. It is thought that Chinese flat steel export offer prices will likely move sideways with some limited fluctuations in the coming week.
