As of March 22, average Chinese flat steel product export offers have mostly softened week on week. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $600-610/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $625-635/mt FOB.

Flat steel product export prices from China declined in the first part of the past week, but later moved sideways - similar to the movement of prices in the domestic finished steel market. It is thought that Chinese flat steel product export prices will likely move sideways in the coming week.
