Global nickel prices have been characterized by a fluctuating trend over the past two weeks, with prices down slightly compared to two weeks ago. On February 16, the three-month nickel price at the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed at $8,300/mt, while LME nickel inventory on the same date totaled 438,402 mt.
As today, February 17, is only the third working day after the Chinese New Year holiday, most traders have not yet returned to the market, with domestic stainless steel prices consequently remaining unchanged. The overall trading volume in the market is very low. It is believed that domestic stainless steel prices will continue their stable trend in the coming days.
