Chinese domestic PPGI prices move sideways

During the week ending February 9, average prices of pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) in the Chinese domestic market have moved sideways, while transaction activity in the domestic market has been at low levels. Average PPGI prices in the local Chinese market are presented in the following table.

During the given week, most downstream buyers and PPGI traders have exited the market ahead of the Chinese New Year holiday, resulting in slack activity in the PPGI market. As for the coming week, it is thought that PPGI prices in the Chinese domestic market will continue to move on a stable trend.
