Russia’s ferrous metal output up by 6%
Federal State Statistics Service said ferrous metal sector output in Russia grew by 6% annually in January-April 2004 period. Iron ore output increased by 5.2% to 31.2 million tons in the mentioned period while steel pipe output was recorded as 2 million tons, up by 12%.
