Jiangsu Province, China-based Zhangjiagang Pohang Stainless Steel Co. has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Zhangjiagang Pohang Stainless Steel Processing Co.,held a ceremony on June 28 to mark its first shipment of stainless steel sheet.
The first shipment was delivered to Wuxi-based Chinese company Zhongrongxing Stainless Steel Co. Ltd. The supplier and buyer intend to continue their cooperation in the area of stainless steel sheet supplies.
Zhangjiagang Pohang Stainless Steel was established as a joint venture in 1997 by South Korean steelmaker POSCO and China`s Sha Gang Group, with 82.5 percent of the shares owned by POSCO.
