Xuanhua Steel records strong progress in Jan-Nov

SteelOrbis Shanghai From January to November 2006, Hebei Province-based Xuanhua Steel produced 4.0446 million mt of iron, 3.8671 million mt of crude steel, and 3.7141 million mt of finished steel, up 40.12 percent, 19.05 percent, and 16.06 percent respectively. The figures constitute a historical peak for Xuanhua Steel's production. Since the beginning of 2006, Xuanhua Steel has successfully developed many new varieties of products, such as XG21MnD, Q390A, SPA-H, 20CrMoA, SAE, 30MnSiPC, 37Mn5, and CrMo. The improvements achieved in steel quality have created favorable conditions for the entry of Xuanhua's products to the international market. In the Jan-Nov period, Xuanhua exported more than 200,000 mt of high speed wire rod and rebar to Europe, America, and Southeast Asia, with sales revenues reaching $80 million.
