Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes announces progress on special steel project

Chinese company Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes (Xinjiang) Co. has so far invested RMB 2.14 billion ($0.332 billion) in its new special steel project in China's Xinjiang Uyghur autonomous region, which is expected to have an annual output capacity of 3 million mt.
 
To date, all construction work has been completed and the equipment installation phase has begun. At the end of the current year, phase one of the project will be completed and a 1.2 million mt production capacity will come on stream.
