WTO panel ruling request by New Zealand

Further to the panel requests made by the EU, Japan, South Korea last week World Trade Organisation (WTO) Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) approved similar requests of China, Norway and Switzerland and it was agreed a single panel to rule on the issue. In additon to the above requestor countries New Zealand has now also joined the case after long negotiations with the US. This request is expected to be discussed by the DSB on July 8, 2002.
