WISCO’s tire cord steel output exceeds 100,000 mt in Jan-Mar

Hubei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel Co. Ltd, (WISCO), a subsidiary of Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corp., announced that in March this year, its tire cord steel output amounted to 38,500 mt.
 
In January- March 2013, the company produced more than 100,000 mt of tire cord steel, registering a record output both monthly and quarterly. Accordingly, WISCO maintained the highest market share in Chinese tire cord steel market.
