WISCO supplies heavy steel rails for world’s longest high-speed rail line

Hubei Province-based major Chinese steel producer Wuhan Iron and Steel Group (WISCO) announced that it has supplied heavy steel rails for the world’s longest high-speed rail line, which runs 2,298 km from Beijing to Guangzhou, going through Shijiazhuang and Wuhan. The trains started operating on the line on December 26, Wednesday.
 
WISCO supplied over 1,120 km of steel rails, including 840 km from Shijiazhuang to Wuhan and 280 km from Beijing to Shijiazhuang.
