WISCO signs strategic cooperation agreement with Shanghai Electric

Hubei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel Co. (WISCO) has announced that on December 10 it signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shanghai Electric Power Generation Group.
 
Based on the agreement, the two parties stated that they will further enhance their cooperation on material resource supply, product innovation and technology exchange.
 
Shanghai Electric Power Generation Group is a multinational group specializing in the manufacture of power generation and electrical equipment. Headquartered in Shanghai, it became an official customer of WISCO in 1997.
