Chongqing Steel’s finished steel output down 12 percent in Jan-Oct

On November 6, Chongqing-based Chinese steelmaker Chongqing Iron and Steel Co. (Chongqing Steel), a subsidiary of Chongqing Iron and Steel (Group) Co., issued its finished steel output for October and for the first 10 months of the current year.
 
In October, Chongqing Steel produced 386,400 mt of finished steel, decreasing by 5.28 percent year on year. In the January-October period of this year, the overall finished steel output of Chongqing Steel totaled 4,003,800 mt, down 12.03 percent compared to the same period last year.
