Austrian steelmaker Voestalpine has said in a statement that it is evaluating which of its plants will have to be closed, which will have to slow down production and which will continue their operations, in the face of the coronavirus emergency.

"Employees working in production, maintenance and other operationally critical areas will be on site until further notice," said Voestalpine. "Health and hygiene safety and protection measures are top priorities," added the producer.
