Vanadium and titanium steel sector in Sichuan sees drop in profit in Jan-Apr

According to the Economic and Information Commission of China's Sichuan Province, in the first four months of the current year the crude steel output of the province's vanadium and titanium steel sector totaled 5.63 million mt, up 0.83 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, in the given period the total sales revenue recorded by the province's vanadium and titanium steel sector came to RMB 112 billion ($17.78 billion), rising by 15.37, while its total gross profit was RMB 990 million ($157.14 million), down 60.76 percent, both year on year.
