Vale and Qatar Steel sign iron ore pellet supply contract

According to local reports, Qatar Steel announced Wednesday that it signed an iron ore pellets supply contract with Brazilian mining giant Vale.

The contract’s duration is three years, with the option of renewing for another three years at the first period’s conclusion. The contract was signed by Ali bin Hassan Al Muraikhi, Managing Director and General Manager of Qatar Steel and Jose Martins, Executive Director of Vale, at Qatar Steel’s head office in Doha.
