Vai Pomini to construct rebar mill for Qasco Dubai

Italy's Vai Pomini won the tender for the construction of a rebar rolling mill project for Qasco Dubai, a subsidiary of Qatar Steel Company. The new plant will be designed to produce 300'000 metric tons of steel bars per annum by first half of 2007. It also includes 2 and 3 slit technology for smaller sizes.
