US to expedite sunset review of AD duties on ex-China rods and pipes

The US International Trade Commission (US ITC) has announced that it will expedite the sunset reviews of the antidumping (AD) duty order on imports of certain steel threaded rod and malleable iron pipe fittings from China.

The US ITC will decide whether the revocation of the orders is likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time.

This is the second sunset review of the antidumping duty order on malleable iron pipe fittings imports from China. The US imposed antidumping duty on Chinese malleable iron pipe fittings in 2004 and on Chinese steel threaded rod in 2009.
