Felman Production LLC – a US producer of silicomanganese – filed an antidumping (AD) petition Thursday against imports of silicomanganese from Australia

The petition alleges an AD margin of 61.1 percent.

The petition identifies Tasmanian Electro Metallurgical Company (TEMCO) as the sole Australian producer, and it identifies the following as US importers: BHP Billiton Mariners Haven LT, David J. Joseph Company, Medima, Millbank Materials USA Ltd., and M G Maher & Co. Inc.

There are already AD orders in effect against silicomanganese from China, India, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Venezuela.
