US raises CVD rates on imports of Turkish rebar

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced final results of the review investigation regarding the countervailing duty on imports of Turkish rebar.

The DOC has determined to rescind the reviews of DufEnergy, Duferco, Ekinciler and Habas as they filed timely no shipment certifications for the period of review, the 2016 calendar year.

Accordingly, Turkish rebar suppliers Colakoglu, Icdas and Kaptan which received de minimis rates in the 2015 administrative review were assigned higher CVD rates. Other Turkish suppliers’ CVD rates also increased.
