US OCTG imports up 1.1 percent in June 2026 from May

According to preliminary census data from the US Department of Commerce, US imports of oil country tubular goods (OCTG) totaled 103,992 mt in June this year, up 1.1 percent from May and down 22.0 percent year on year. By value, OCTG imports totaled $119.3 million in June, compared to $123.0 million in May and $164.0 million in the same month in 2025.

The US imported the most OCTG from South Korea in June with 52,525 mt, compared to 35,833 mt in May and 32,282 mt in June 2025. Other top sources of imported OCTG in June include Vietnam with 14,085 mt, Canada with 9,157 mt, Austria with 6,921 mt, and India with 5,490 mt.
