US line pipe imports up 52.3 percent in February 2026 from January

According to final census data from the US Department of Commerce, US imports of line pipe totaled 41,813 mt in February this year, up 52.3 percent from January and down 22.4 percent year on year. By value, line pipe imports totaled $44.35 million in February this year, compared to $38.85 million in January and $80.2 million in February 2025.

The US imported the most line pipe from South Korea in February with 30,308 mt compared to 8,765 mt in January and 17,029 mt in February 2025. Other top sources of imported line pipe in February include Italy with 2,008 mt, Georgia with 1,850 mt, and India with 1,566 mt.
