US ITC to conduct sunset reviews for rebar imports from eight countries

Tuesday, 01 August 2006 14:33:50 (GMT+3)   |
The US International Trade Commission (ITC) announced today that it instituted full five-year reviews concerning the antidumping duty orders on steel concrete reinforcing bars imported from Belarus, China, Indonesia, Korea, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, and Ukraine. The ITC will use the sunset reviews to determine whether revocation of the antidumping duty orders would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to US domestic industries. Interested parties are requested to submit their comments on the ITC's decision by September 20, 2006. Comments on the adequacy of responses may be filed with the Commission by October 16, 2006.
