ITC to conduct sunset reviews for rebar from eight countries

The US International Trade Commission (ITC) voted yesterday to conduct full five-year reviews (“sunset”) concerning the antidumping duty orders on steel concrete reinforcing bar from Belarus, China, Indonesia, South Korea, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, and Ukraine. As a result of yesterday's vote, the ITC will conduct full reviews to determine whether the revocation of the orders would be likely to lead to a continuation or recurrence of material injury to US domestic industries. The interested parties are requested to submit their comments regarding the ITC's decision. Generally, 95 days after the initiation of the review the ITC determines whether the responses indicate adequate interest in a full review. If the responses are indicative of sufficient interest, the ITC will conduct a full review, which includes public hearings and questionnaires.
