The US International Trade Commission (ITC) has announced that it has decided to maintain the existing antidumping (AD) duty order on imports of circular welded pipe from Brazil, India, South Korea, Mexico, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey and the existing countervailing duty (CVD) order on the imports of the same products from Turkey.

As part of its five-year (sunset) reviews, the commission has determined that revoking the existing antidumping duties on the mentioned imports from seven countries and the countervailing duties on the imports from Turkey would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonable foreseeable time.

The existing antidumping duties stand at 103.38 for Brazil, 7.08 percent for India, 32.62 percent for Mexico and range between 19.46 percent and 27.65 percent for Taiwan, 15.60 percent and 15.69 percent for Thailand, 1.26 percent and 23.12 percent for Turkey and 4.91 percent and 11.63 percent for South Korea. Meanwhile, the existing countervailing duties on imports from Turkey range between 0.79 percent and 3.01 percent.
