On April 2, 2007, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated and the US International Trade Commission (ITC) instituted sunset reviews of the antidumping duty orders on silicomanganese from India, Kazakhstan, and Venezuela.

As a result of the determinations by the DOC and the ITC that revocation of the antidumping duty orders on the subject merchandise from India, Kazakhstan, and Venezuela would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping and material injury to an industry in the US, the DOC has published a notice of continuation of these antidumping duty orders.
