The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced Tuesday the preliminary results of its administrative review of stainless steel bar from India

The review originally covered three Indian producers/exporters--Ambica Steels Limited; Mukand, Ltd.; and Chandan Steel Limited--during the period from February 1, 2012 through January 31, 2013.

However, the requests for review of Mukand and Chandan were withdrawn, and the DOC has rescinded these reviews.

The DOC has calculated a preliminary weighted-average dumping margin of 0.00 (zero) percent for Ambica Steels.  The current dumping duty deposit rate for Ambica Steels is also 0.00 percent.

The DOC plans to complete this review by July 2014, and the current dumping duty deposit rate will remain in effect until the DOC's final results are published in the Federal Register.
