The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced that it has rescinded the administrative review of carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from Mexico for the period from October 1, 2011, through September 30, 2012.

Nucor Inc. had originally requested reviews of the following companies:  Deacero S.A. de C.V.; Ternium S.A. (including Ternium Mexico S.A. de C.V. and Hylsa S.A. de C.V.); and ArcelorMittal Las Truchas S.A. de C.V. (including its affiliate, ArcelorMittal International America LLC).

However, Nucor subsequently withdrew its requests, and the DOC has accordingly rescinded the administrative review for all companies.
