US DOC postpones preliminary decision in AD investigation of Japanese seamless pipe

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has lately announced that it has decided to postpone the deadline for its preliminary determination in the antidumping (AD) investigation of certain large diameter carbon and alloy seamless standard, line, and pressure pipe from Japan.

The deadline for the preliminary determination has been extended by 30 days from March 9, 2010 to April 8, 2010.

As SteelOrbis previously reported, the period of the investigation, launched on July 29, 2009, is from June 1, 2008 through May 31, 2009.

The respondents in the investigation are JFE Steel Corporation, Nippon Steel Corporation, NKK Tubes and Sumitomo Metal Industries Ltd.
