The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced that it is postponing the deadline for issuing the final determinations in the antidumping investigations of carbon and alloy steel wire rod from Italy, Korea, Spain, Turkey, and the United Kingdom until no later than March 15, 2018. Further, the DOC is extending the provisional measures from a four-month period to a period of not more than six months.

As the deadline for the final determinations of the countervailing duty (CVD) investigations of wire rod from Italy and Turkey have been aligned with the deadline for the final determinations of the antidumping investigations, the final CVD determinations shall also be postponed.
