On February 9, 1994, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) imposed an antidumping duty order on certain forged
stainless steel flanges imported from
India.
Upon the requests of several Indian producers, the DOC, on April 5, 2006, initiated administrative reviews for Kunj Forgings Pvt Ltd (Kunj), Micro Forge
India Ltd (Micro), Pradeep Metals Limited (Pradeep), and Rollwell Forge Ltd (Rollwell), while on April 6, 2006, the DOC initiated new shipper reviews for the same producers.
The period of in question for both the administrative and new shipper reviews is February 1, 2005, through January 31, 2006.
Based on the review of data received, the DOC determined to rescind the new shipper review with respect to Micro and Pradeep, since the producers had no entries of the subject merchandise during the period of review.
The DOC also determined that Rollwell does not qualify for a new shipper review since it had entries of the subject merchandise that occurred prior to the entry it reported in its new shipper review request. Accordingly, the DOC also decided to rescind the new shipper review with respect to this producer.
