On March 7, 2002, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) imposed an antidumping duty order on stainless steel bar from Germany.

Upon the request of German producer Flanschenwerk Bebitz GmbH (Flanschenwerk), which claimed that it did not export the subject merchandise to the US during the period of the investigation - October 1, 1999, through September 30, 2000, the DOC has decided to initiate a new shipper review of the antidumping duty order on stainless steel bar from Flanschenwerk. The review covers the period March 1, 2007, through August 31, 2007.
