The US Department of Commerce has announced an affirmative circumvention ruling against imports of steel concrete reinforcing bar (rebar) from the Mexican producer Deacero S.A.P.I. de C.V (Deacero).

As previously reported by SteelOrbis, the DOC issued an affirmative preliminary circumvention ruling against rebar imported from Deacero.

The DOC determined that Mexican hooked or bent rebar produced and/or exported to the United States by Deacero is circumventing the existing antidumping duty (AD) order on rebar from Mexico that is straight or in coil form.
