On November 1, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated a sunset review of the antidumping duty order on certain corrosion-resistant carbon steel flat products from France. On the basis of the notices of intent to participate and adequate substantive responses filed on behalf of domestic interested parties and due to inadequate responses from respondent interested parties, the DOC determined to conduct expedited sunset reviews of these orders. In the final conclusion of its review, the DOC found that revocation of the CVD (countervailing duty) order would likely lead to a continuation or recurrence of a countervailable subsidy at the level indicated below:

Manufacturers/exporters Net subsidy margin

All producers/exporters from France.........0.16
