US DOC: Final results of sunset review on CTL plate from three countries

On November 1, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated a sunset review of the countervailing duty order on cut-to-length carbon steel plate from Brazil, Mexico, and Spain. On the basis of the notices of intent to participate and adequate substantive responses filed on behalf of domestic interested parties and inadequate responses from respondent interested parties, the DOC determined to conduct expedited sunset reviews of these orders. As a result of these reviews, the DOC found that revocation of the CVD orders would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of countervailable subsidies at the levels indicated below:
