In its final review of the countervailing duty order (CVD) on stainless steel sheet and strip in coils imported from South Korea (the results of which were published on the Federal Register on January 3), the US Department of Commerce (DOC) has decided to make no change to the relevant preliminary results which it issued late last August. On September 28, 2005, the US DOC initiated an administrative review of the CVD order on stainless steel sheet and strip in coils from South Korea for the period January 1, 2004, through December 31, 2004. In the preliminary results dated August 28, 2006, the DOC determined that the net subsidy rate for the producer under review was de minimis. Accordingly, the preliminary net subsidy rate for Dai Yang Metal Co Ltd (DMC) was 0.02 percent, which is de minimis. Upon receiving no comments on these preliminary results, the DOC has decided not to make any changes to them. Accordingly, the final results of this review do not differ from the preliminary results.
