On Wednesday, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced that it was extending the deadline for its preliminary results in the administrative review of the countervailing duty (CVD) order against stainless steel plate in coils from Belgium. The current deadline of January 31, 2011 has been extended until no later than May 31, 2011.
The review covers one producer/exporter - ArcelorMittal Stainless Belgium ("AMS Belgium") -- during the period from January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009.
The Department indicated that it required additional time in order to review, analyze, and verify submitted information and to issue supplemental questionnaires.
