US DOC delays preliminary AD decision on certain cast iron pipe fittings from China

On December 7, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced its decision to postpone the deadline for its preliminary determination in the antidumping (AD) duty review of non-malleable cast iron pipe fittings from China. The investigation covers the period of April 1, 2009, through March 31, 2010.

The DOC has extended the time period for completion of the preliminary results of this administrative review, which is currently due on December 31, 2010, by 30 days to January 30, 2011.
