US CRC exports down 1.5 percent in June

According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of CRC totaled 45,354 mt in June 2018, down 1.5 percent from May and down 11.9 percent from June 2017 levels. By value, CRC exports totaled $49.7 million in June, compared to $50.9 million in the previous month and $55.5 million the same month last year.

The US shipped the most CRC to Mexico in June with 26,531 mt, compared to 28,863 mt in May and 33,234 mt in June 2017. Other destinations include Canada, with 17,934 mt. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) for US CRC exports in June.
