According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the unemployment rate in Turkey increased by 1.3 percentage points year on year to 11.8 percent in October last year, increasing by 0.5 percentage points compared to the 11.3 percent recorded in September.
Meanwhile, in October the employment rate in Turkey was recorded at 46.2 percent, remaining stable compared to the same month of the previous year.
