According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the unemployment rate in Turkey increased by 1.6 percentage points year on year to 12.1 percent in November last year, increasing by 0.3 percentage points compared to the 11.8 percent recorded in October.
Meanwhile, in November the employment rate in Turkey was recorded at 45.8 percent, remaining stable compared to the same month of the previous year.
