Ukrainian exports of iron ore in June

According to data released by the State Committee of Statistics of Ukraine, the country's exports of iron ore rose 5.6 percent month on month to 1.854 million metric tons in June of 2006. In particular, during the given period, the exports of non-agglomerated ore decreased 4.6 percent to 1.026 million metric tons, while the exports of agglomerated ore rose 21.8 percent to 828,780 metric tons. In January-June of 2006, Ukraine increased the volume of exports of iron ore 24.4 percent to 9.64 million metric tons compared to the same period of 2005.
