Ukraine’s steel exports to Russia decline by 28 percent in Jan-Oct

The Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom has announced that in the January-October period of this year, steel product exports by Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises to CIS countries declined by 28 percent year on year to 2.9 million mt, including 2.2 million mt of steel products sent to Russia, down 28 percent year on year.

In particular, in the given period hot rolled coil exports to Russia decreased by 38 percent, while rebar exports to Russia declined by 39 percent, both year-on-year basis.
