Ukraine’s long steel imports rise by 13.7 percent in January-October

In the January-October period of the current year, Ukraine registered a 13.7 percent increase year on year in its long steel product imports to 356,300 mt. In October alone, Ukraine's long steel product imports increased by 28.9 percent compared to September, rising to 52,200 mt.

In the given period, Ukrainian exports of long steel products decreased by 0.2 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2010, declining to 4.777 million mt. In October alone, Ukraine's long steel product exports decreased by 14.6 percent month on month to 470,000 mt.
