Ukraine’s flat steel imports and exports rise in January-November

In the first 11 months of the current year, Ukraine registered a 9.9 percent increase year on year in its flat steel imports to 850,000 mt. In November alone, Ukraine's flat steel imports decreased by 1.8 percent compared to October, falling to 89,500 mt.

On the other hand, in the first 11 months of 2011 Ukraine's flat steel exports increased by 14.6 percent year on year to 6.877 million mt. In November alone, Ukraine's flat steel exports increased by 0.7 percent compared to October, to 528,700 mt.
