Ukraine ups DRI/HBI imports by 2.7 times in Jan-Aug 2010

In January-August this year, Ukraine increased its imports of direct reduced iron and hot briquetted iron (DRI/HBI) by 2.7 times compared to the same period last year to 215,600 mt.

In August, the country's DRI/HBI imports went up by 65.33 times to 19,600 mt from just 300 mt in July. In June, Ukraine did not import any DRI/HBI.
